When your aging loved one gets to a point that their needs increase and they require constant care you may decide that in-home care is preferred over a facility. When deciding on in-home care, the next step is to determine if 24 hour care or live-in care is most appropriate.
We offer both 24 hour care and Live-in care...there is a difference between the two options.
Live-in care means that a caregiver lives in your home to help with anything from spontaneous needs and appointments to planned outings and personal care. Our live-in caregivers are entitled to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep as well as two (2) hours of personal time each day within a 24-hour care period; appropriate personal sleeping space...and food, provided by you is required.
If you need a caregiver to be awake around the clock, live-in care may not be for you. In that case, 24 hour care would be more appropriate. 24-hour care means that several caregivers rotate shifts throughout the day. To ensure you have an alert Caregiver in your time of need.
